you know we don't get snow days very often, let alone 2 in a row
it is a very strange occurance in the south
we made a little snow girl, but i wanted to make a giant one like we did last year
the snow was different this time
it wasn't like the snow the year we made the giant snowman
it was more icy and hard to work with
it was just me and my children and one of my nieces making the snow girl yesterday

my helpers were ages 9, 10, & 12
they were just happy that we were outside making something
which made me think about the act of creating...
something....
anything....
i believe that my own children and my nieces have the same desire that i have to create
it's something I HAVE TO DO
it's something that I have always done
....create
i can't remember when i didn't have this desire
i remember being a little kid sitting in the carport with a set of tube paints
paints that i am most certain were for much older artists
squeezing out the paint of the tubes
AND LOVING IT!!!!!
